Set high above our working family farm, Trem y Fan is a stunning lakeside lodge offering space, stillness, and some of the most breathtaking views in the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog).

With uninterrupted panoramas across water and mountains – including the iconic Pen y Fan, the highest peak in southern Britain – this is a place where nature takes centre stage and everyday life feels wonderfully far away.

A blend of warm Welsh hospitality with luxurious comfort

Designed as a modern, sustainable and spacious retreat, the lodge sleeps up to six guests, making it perfect for families or up to three couples looking to unwind in complete tranquillity.

The open-plan kitchen and living area is flooded with light from panoramic windows, framing ever-changing lake and mountain vistas from morning mist to golden sunsets. Enjoy slow breakfasts at the dining table, relaxed evenings on the sofas, or simply sit and watch the landscape shift with the weather. Guests tell us it’s a view they never tire of.

Everything you need for a self-catered stay

The fully equipped contemporary kitchen includes everything you need for effortless self-catering, from a built-in oven and dishwasher to a microwave and coffee machine.

Tea and coffee is provided, and some welcome treats will be waiting for you on arrival.

We’ve tried to think of everything you might need during your stay, including extras such as board games, a hairdryer and iron to ensure a comfortable, home-from-home stay. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome at Trem Y Fan, we even provide a comfy dog bed.
